“I’ve lived by this park for 12 yrs so I’ve seen the good and bad conditions. Little by little the city has done its best to improve the grounds including painting over the gang tags as soon as they appear. What I enjoy most is the walking trail they installed, 4 times around is a mile!”

“It is a great park. It has everything from tennis courts, basketball, disc golf, play ground for the kids, baseball, space to do celebrations, enough parking and a little pond with ducks. It has several trees around the park... there are also lots of squirrels and gophers. Lots of holes on the ground.”

“Such a wonderful time Staying at Cuyama Oaks Ranch. Our site was well equipped and Nathan was super responsive in meeting us and bringing us down and getting us all settled in. The sunset on the land is stunning and it’s fun to take a stroll and see the animals. It was so peaceful, I can’t wait to come back and visit!”

“Parent just send their kids down to the pool unsupervised. He had 2 girls fighting a little boy. Their were kids who wouldn't get out of the pool when the lifeguards needed to take a break.”

“It's a huge park, good for playing sports, exercise or walking your dog. It's maintained pretty well. It would be nice if it was updated and if there was more shade available. It would be nice to have more trees planted around the park to provide more shade and make the park look more appealing. Also, updating the playground and basketball court would be nice. It's definitely aged but still functional. Nice overall.”

“Customer service exceeded expectations - incredibly welcome and helpful! We were able to watch the (cold) Kern River rush by while enjoying a picnic with our 2 pups. Peaceful, clean environment - would definitely stop by again if we are in the area =)”

“Great track on a hilltop near Dawsonville. This was my 6th visit since I first found AMP a year ago. The Kart is fast and the racing is lots of fun. (I do miss the longer track configuration though.)”
Address: 25025 Fern Valley Rd, Fern Valley, CA 92549, USA
“Wonderful displays of many, MANY different lilacs that the very knowledgeable owner, Gary Parton, has grown. You can walk through the large property and view and smell all the blumes when it's open to the public. You can even purchase gallon and 5 gallon plantings that are for sale. Worth the time to visit and it's free!”

“Good park. Only 2 regular swings, and 1 baby swing. Probably a better park for a picnic because it’s a little boring, err, it’s playground equipment is a little irregular which is cool for a little bit, kids have to use their imaginations to enjoy it, which is good for their brains. Definitely challenging equipment for uncoordinated.”
Address: 11860 Telephone Ave, Chino, CA 91710, USA
“I was surprised by how big the park is. It was very well maintained, and the activities are separated from each other so that the areas don't get too crowded. I don't like that the playground area doesn't have any swings as I took my 2-year-old there. But we kicked around a soccer ball, and there was plenty of room that we didn't bother the other park guests. The baseball field can use a little sprucing, a little upgrading. Maybe add a fence so that when a ball is hit, it doesn't end up disturbing a picnic. Other than that, it is a very nice park.”

“This campsite is truly a hidden gem! No fees, clean toilet, surrounded by beautiful nature. There’s no spigot for water, but a very clean stream is located at the edge of camp. Bring your water filter and drink all you want!”
Address: Puerta La Cruz Rd, Warner Springs, CA 92086, USA
“Just spent one night there to test out. Only 3 sites being used including mine. Seemed fairly quiet except the one family (mom, dad, kid and dog) who seemed louder than the other site that had several people (about 7 or 8 people). Gave it a 4 star instead of 5 because I wish there was a ranger to keep the dog family in check since their dog wasn't on a leash. It didn't full blown attack, but as I walked by their site, I had my hand on my knife and had to stop for the owner to come and get it.”
Address: 225 N Appling Rd, Waterford, CA 95386, USA
“This park is pretty nice. There are benches in shade and a bathroom. It has a boat launch. The trail is easy and short. There and back. There are several homeless camps on that side so it was hard to find a safe area to get down to the river. If you go the opposite side of the main trail past the benches you can walk down to the river and follow it for a short while. Nice area. Lots of garbage. Easy walk. My dog liked the area too.”

“Nice Park. Relaxing, but really the only downside is that there are so many holes in the ground that are quite deep and I almost rolled my ankle a few times because of the fact that there is so many deep holes and a lot of them are hidden by grass. We were playing between the tennis courts and the baseball field and there were quite a few holes. Needs to be patched up so no one hurts themselves.”

“Love this park! There is a walk path to get to both the park and toddler park. I really like how the toddler park is gated so that any dogs, or balls don't affect the tiny ones. Lots of parking around the park, it is in a nice quiet neighborhood. There is a water fountain that is on some times for the kids to play in. A nice big area for everyone to share to kick a ball around or play catch. They also have public restrooms and tables to picnic at. I've come to this park since I was a kid, I definitely recommend it.”

“Peaceful and beautiful place for a hike. The drive up to the reservoir is quite narrow and not for the faint of heart. I’d recommend taking a smaller car. Parking can be hard during peak hours.”
Address: 90942 Kelso Cima Rd, Essex, CA 92332, USA
“It was one of the best places I've ever visited. So other-worldly, remote and unique. It was 100F with no cars or people anywhere around. There are no services for the length of this park, so ensure you have water, food, and toilet paper! I was lucky enough to be there when the desert plants were in bloom. Extraordinary beauty in infinite dusty beige fields of sand with tufts of grey-green foliage. The main road takes you through the changing desert landscape, moving from lush shrubs, Joshua trees, and various cacti through to true barren desert dunes (Kelso) and blackened hills. Would 100% do this again if ever back here.”
Address: 14688 Lost Hills Rd, Lost Hills, CA 93249, USA
“Amazing park on the route between SF and LA. Was looking for a place to stretch my legs and was surprised to see that there was a beautiful new track in the middle of a bunch of farmland. The bathrooms and park were very clean and everything seemed quite new. Seemed like a great place to picnic or hang out with friends.”
